He has also appeared in six postseason games (six starts), totaling 32 tackles, two interceptions – including one returned for a touchdown – three pass breakups, two tackles for a loss and one forced fumble.

Not to defend Pace, who I think is a dope, but I'm not sure how this one "didn't work out"?

They signed him for pennnies. He was really good in 2015, meh in 2016. Nothing really lost.

This is stupid. Making nothing so it's not a cap issue. They need corners. Why cut him. At worst he's your 3rd or 4th corner.

I guess it doesn't matter cuz with or without him the Bears are gonna suck next year. So in a sense, I guess that's what Pace was thinking.

But Pace has to stop thinking that way cuz his ass will be fired if they keep sucking.

I agree. This cut has the same smell on it as last season's surprise cut of Matt Slauson.

Save's them $3.5M and he was rated like 111 out of 115 corners last season.

Pace brought in a bunch of other old shit he is paying more, so Porter is gone.
