- (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is the first Bears QB in franchise history to throw 300 yards in a playoff game

- Average age of the defensive starters = 25.6

- Cohen is 23, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky 24, and Robinson 25

- The rest of the NFC North sucks

I don't think it's panicking. It's disappointment. Nothing is guaranteed in the future.

With you on the defense and the NFC north. The offense is too pedestrian to compete.

Raiders went 12-4 two years ago with a young MVP candidate QB and young DPOY winner. Things can change quickly.

I agree though. It sure does seem like the Bears are poised for a nice 3-4 year run.

The Bears were the youngest team in the NFL in 1985.

I’m calm. Calmer than you

This is a fair point, if we’re being honest.

Still, I’m optimistic.

The Bears got very lucky with injuries this year. It would seem foolish to assume they will be as healthy next year. This is where the lack of draft picks is going to hurt--establishing quality depth will be a major challenge.

This is also what sucks about not making the run this year. In the NFL (more so than in any other league) you gotta make your runs when they’re available to you.

Great point on the health factor. I can't see them having two years in a row with the good health.

You’re right. Nothing’s guaranteed. Now, home teams with at least +2 in turnover differential in the playoffs are 112-5 after last night.

The Bears have a very young solid foundation in a division that’s now there for the taking.

This year it did. I’d be careful expecting another year of intra divisional success (Only the Pats can count on 6 wins before seasons begin)
