If us fans can look at the situation dispassionately, we should bring him back next year. That is $5-6 million down the drain for FA if we cut him. I'll take the chance that a guy with his track record just had an off year.

Everybody is begging for change and while it is justified in a vacuum, we don't have a lot of salary cap room and the kickers who would replace him are all 36 or over and will cost additional money

Was it just a down year? Philly cut him because....he was bad at kicking Field goals. This season was not a fluke.
I don't really care if they bring him back or not...I understand that's a lot of money to eat. They should have never been in that game winning situation, anyway. They played a pretty poor game.
