Not enough was made this offseason of the Bears decision to roll with Daniel as the backup. Cutting him would've saved money against the cap and he's truly dreadful, maybe the worst backup QB in the league. Even if you think (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky will turn it around you cannot discount injury risk and the distinct possibility that starting Daniel in two or three games could be the difference between making or missing the playoffs.

Why trade for Fitzpatrick when both Cutler and Kaepernick are sitting at home waiting for a call and looking for a friend? Sign one or both now and let the QB derby begin!
