asking to be traded. He puts the Browns in, essentially, the same position the Bears were with Howard, where the market knew a move was necessary. He is a less accomplished back than Howard but more expensive with an extra year of control. He should be able to fetch no better than the future sixth the Bears got for Howard.

I would be happy to acquire him for a 7th. He fits the Bears well.

He is 30 pounds heavier than Cohen. Johnson is big enough to get regular carries without fear of him being hurt. I think he also plays both ways on special teams. That seems like a perfect third back in the group with Davis and Cohen.

He's not cheap, he signed a 3 year -16 million deal last year.

So it’s probably $4-5M in base and no guarantees left. That’s still fine but I don’t think GB is willing to pay that as its basically all they have left :lol:
