No tight ends? Are you a subscriber to the Athletic?

i hope we just keep trading next year's second so we can draft in the 2nd round this year.... we can just keep doing this forever and never miss a second round pick.

Why is it called a seven round mock? It's a four round mock for the Bears.

Because it's a seven round mock. I copied the Bears picks.

trying to project into the third round is a lesson in futility.

there are guys who go in the second round who the "experts" never projected that high. Day 2 really starts to display the dissonance between NFL insider and outsider opinions of future production

clicks = cash. i cant imagine any actual draftnik wants to do a mock draft as they know it's idiotic to try and project even the first round

They should go ‘best player available’.. but RB and finding a way to add another pass rusher seem to be their priority.

I just hope Pace doesn’t do anything crazy this year. Stick with what you have in this draft (within reason) and operate from there. I can’t think of what he’d trade, but I get the feeling he really wants to try and pull something off. We’ll see.

Agreed.

I wouldn't be upset if they took an OT in Round 3.

Regardless of position/need, if Pace has a 2nd round grade for a player available in Round 3, just add good talent and the rest will figure itself out.

Agreed. BPA and not a reach like Shaheen.

I would be surprised if they moved up in the draft (say to the 2nd round to grab somebody), but you can't be shocked by anything Pace does. Part of me expects them to move down if anything from their 3rd round pick to get additional picks either this year or next year.

Either way, this is simple. Just take the highest ranked players on the board and don't take needs over value. In the middle rounds of the draft, just add talent and the rest will figure itself out.

Mike Martz is assisting with the picks.
