It's almost as if they traded for him just to block the Bears from acquiring him which, of course, would be pretty ridiculous as well.

I'm bothered that the Bears wouldn't give up a 5th or been aggressive earlier.

Elliott Fry is probably their best option. He doesn't have the big leg but neither did Edinger or Gould when they arrived. Accuracy is the most important thing. His haircut reminds me too much of Parkey so he needs to fix that.

They gave up a conditional pick for a kicker already. Let one of these two guys win it, or sign a kicker who gets cut by another team when the rosters are trimmed to 53. Don't waste anymore draft capital on a fucking kicker. I know they are important, but two of the best kickers ever- Vinatieri and Gould- were UDFA's.

I believe that the Bears won't have to give up anything for Pineiro if he doesn't make the team. I understand what you are saying but when you have a SB team you shouldn't leave anything to chance.
