Sorry folks, but SEND HIS ASS BACK TO THE ARENA LEAGUE. Manheim Township. Whatever jack ass play-calling rock he crawled out from under.

When you have to say “I’m not an idiot”, it’s already too late. YOURE AN IDIOT.

This poser had a bye week of knowing and preaching more run plays were necessary.

What’s he come out and do? Proceeds to call the FEWEST RUN PLAYS IN BEARS HISTORY.

I think he's a fine person and a decent motivator, but he has NO BUSINESS CALLING PLAYS IN AN NFL GAME anymore. He's Trestman Part 2. He's been exposed. Balance is NOT in his DNA and that is not a recipe for SUSTAINABLE, WINNING football. I'm so done with this guy as a play caller. Absolutley DONE.

And yes Mitch is terrible right now too. But when your QB has lost ALL his confidence, 7 run play calls is the OPPOSITE of helping.

David Montgomery would already be on his way to 1000 yds and 70 catches playing for Andy Reid. This guy was the ugly branch that fell off the Reid Tree.

Just so it's clear, 7 failed run attempts.

If only there was a running back who had a pretty good career with the Bears that they could have had on the roster this year instead of some late round pick that probably will suck anyways.

The main point was to showcase this article that came out TODAY. So yeah, this warranted a fresh thread. Because it's ALARMING to see him say this and then proceed to NOT do it week after week.

They've rushed the ball 125 times to no avail. They are only ahead of Cincy, Miami, and the Jets in yards per rush.

The magic formula isn't rushing the football.

Those three teams have one win combined. Bad omen that Bears are anywhere that company.

Lol, yeah you're right. The key is to not call ANY runs! You always improve on things by not even trying!

They tried. 7 times. 17 yards. Plus a fumble.

I bet they are right with those same teams in passing.

They're averaging 3.4 yds per rush. They should have at least 100 more attempts.

Last I looked, NE was 3.5 per rush. Somehow, they're getting it done.

Last I looked, NE hasn't lost a game since approximately 2017.

NE is actually averaging 3.3yds/att. Yet they haven't given up on it. They've rushed 84 more times than the Bears.

New England doesn't care about how many yards they get per carry, they just want the linebackers to hesitate a half second so Brady can pick the D apart with short passes. Discussion if pretty irrelevant now because Nagy has shown he really cannot make adjustments to his offense. If Josh McDaniels was coaching the Bears the offense would be more balanced and likely much better.
