Nagy realizes by now that Mitch is sooo bad that he will have to totally change his offensive scheme for a schmuck he didn't even draft. In the off season Pace will be reluctant to dump his golden boy and Nagy will want anybody but Mitch. It's gonna get ugly folks.

Pace is gonna be on the hot seat, he convinced the McKaskey's to fork over all that money for Mack and missed on a franchise QB, and may have missed on head coach.

I honestly believe that during the Spring and Summer, Nagy started drinking incessantly when he realized that not only was Mitch incapable of absorbing more of the playbook, but also that Mitch’s mental confusion was making him worse physically.

So Nagy drank and drank and now his brain is partially melted.

He lied. Or at least exaggerated knowing it’s what Pace wanted to hear.

We’ve all done that in interviews. Working nights and weekends? Oh definitely. That’s when I do my best work....

He wanted to be a head coach. It is what it is.

Plus, he clearly thought he could coach him up. Thought...being the key word. I think Nagy has been on the rag these last few weeks because he’s starting to realize he’s fucked with Mitch.
