We all know that (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is inconsistent at best but this is now the second game of the season that the loss can be directly put onto the coach.

He lost the Oakland game. That team was not prepared to compete in the first half. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky was on the sidelines.
He lost the Chargers game. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky had two bad turnovers but the team was still in a position to win and the decision to not even attempt to get a better field goal was just dumb after he did the same thing in the playoffs last year. Given the major emphasis on the double doink last year why would you put your playoff hopes on your kicker without trying to get the field goal as close as possible?

Add in the fact that (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky isn't running any more unless he scrambles and Nagy seems to completely forget about running the ball at times.

Let's be real here. Nagy only ever worked for Andy Reid as a coach. Andy Reid is a very good coach but Nagy probably isn't prepared to be an NFL coach. Now, he learned enough from Reid to do some good things but the total package shows he is pretty flawed as a head coach. He is young enough that maybe he is learning on the job but a more competent coach has this team at a minimum at 5 wins even with (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky struggling.

People like Nagy do not learn, they are stubborn. He is gonna end up as a QB coach after this gig.

Yes it is.

And the Bears still need a QB.

Not trusting a bunch on players on your offense and being stubborn as hell isn't the sign of a good or great play caller. You have to be flexible. I think Nagy is a good coach already but I think he's an awful play caller.

Nagy also did not have the offense ready to start the season. Zero preseason reps seems pretty indefensible when you look so disjointed in every aspect of the offense to start the year.

Nah-Gee has an odd fascination with Cohen. He constantly uses him at the wrong times and in the wrong ways. It’s so bizarre

There is a lot to go around, BRick. Nagy made MANY mistakes yesterday, but you can't say he is 100% at fault when Trubiksy throws a terrible INT and then simply drops the football in the 4th quarter yesterday. Turnovers is exactly how a team can amass 160+ yards rushing while holding the ball for 38 minutes and lose.

And then of course, we have the defense not able to protect the lead as the allow another long 4th quarter touchdown drive.

And Pineiro missed two relatively easy FGs yesterday.

How many GM/Coach fails does George get before Virginia has him sit in the corner with Michael? You'd think the McCaskey's would stumble upon a GM by blind luck, they always pick the wrong guy.

Will Parkins say the chances that Nagy is a bad coach are now greater than zero?

He's a bad play caller.

I agree for the most part but.. this was a total loss imo. From the players to the coaching, just a complete collapse.

Why Nagy didn’t stick with what was working on the drive Mitch fumbled on is beyond me -we were killing SD running the ball out of the I and with an extra lineman- why Nagy didn’t double team Bosa on critical downs is also beyond me.. but Mitch was terrible in the wrong moments too. Eddie was terrible in the wrong moments, the defense gave up
points right after our offense drove down the field.. just a total collapse.

Running the ball against a team that had been on the field for 40 minutes was very likely going to be a successful play. Nagy coaches scared because he doesn't trust anyone. Mr. Positive is often too negative when it matters. #JoeNagy

Nagy still defensive about his terrible calls at the end of the game.

Nagy's problem is he thinks he's smarter than the game. The issue of leaving so late to go to London, the over-reliance on passing which works when you've got Brady or Rodgers but with (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky??? And of course not running another play yesterday while leaving a TO on the table.

He's such a narcissist that he can't admit it was a bad decision to not try to get closer to the end zone to help his kicker. Someone up at Halas Hall had better start making some better decisions or they're going to waste a defense that is so good that all the team needs is a competent coach and an AVERAGE QB to get deep into the playoffs and possibly the SB.

YUP

Attitude reflects leadership. It has infected the entire team.
