Could've just kept Howard for cheap and STILL drafted Montgomery. Pace is starting to really confuse people...

Yes, they should cut him.

And Nall is not a blocker Bob.

Getting rid of Howard was not a money issue. I think we just wanted to move on from him.

Howard didn't fit into Nagy's scheme. The reason why is not very confusing, unless you are a complete moron. Was it the right move? Probably not.

Howard wasn't a world beater yesterday, just shitty tackling by the Bears.

Before we release Davis why don't we try him at QB and Mitch at RB?

It sucks that the trading deadline passed just before the 49ers lost their LB for the season. We probably could have gotten a 4th for Trevathan.

Why would the 49ers want a washed up LB useless in coverage? Of course I blame #ChuckSTrong for being in man coverage on 3 and 15.

He's not washed up. He has been a good LB all year. He made a mistake in coverage and admitted it.

the mike davis signing and contract was a head scratcher when it was first announced. why pay a RB that much money if he isnt going to be your lead RB?

Could you imagine what this team would look like if he was their starter, as first imagined? Woof.

Trevathan is still a good LB. He had a bad start to his career marred by injuries, but he seems to be healthy now.

I'm all for getting Whyte some reps. Season is lost. See what this kid can do.

Cohen ain't doing jack squat( though that's as much Nagys fault as anyone's).

But I think Whyte would probably have more success spelling Montgomery on run plays than anyone

Paid him $3 million to rush for 25 yards.

Did the signing of Davis result in the Bears losing the 4th round comp pick that they would have received for Amos? If so, strange move to sign him in the first place.

Obviously, once he got here, the commitment to the running game continues to be poor to inconsistent so Daivs was in a position where he'll only play if Montgomery goes down.

I guess Davis was to be Montgomery if they didn’t fall in love with Montgomery and trade. I thought I heard if they cut him they still get the comp.

I still think that the major fault of Pace was his absolute FAILURE to form a good offensive line as well as a tight end. We have had decent enough running backs on this team but they have no blocking to open up things for them. They made a big mistake for giving the tackle spots to Massie and Leno and also not drafting a replacement for Long when he got hurt.

In other words, in all of this dialogue about (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and Nagy getting fired, I say, start with Pace first. The BEars, in my opinion, could have won every game this season if they had a very good offensive line. These guy in front of our running backs and quarterbacks are awful.

i disagree. I'd say he's formed a tight end

Worried he'd sign with the Lions and share their "game plan"

Is he the biggest bust in Bears history considering they got virtually nothing out of him?

I know there are higher profile busts, and players who cost a fortune and never lived up to the hype, but $3m for 25 yards?

Glennon, another Pace disaster, has to be in the team picture.
