Several years without draft picks are a pretty good indicator of a bad future.

A lot of bad money handed out this off-season and no first-rounders for two straight years is going to have a latent effect. Pace has gone a Emery-like job poisoning the well.

There is a very real possibility it gets worse when Pace uses of some of next years draft capital to move up in this years draft. If the wheels come off this year want whoever comes in next to have the full complement of picks to take another shot at a franchise QB and be able to begin filling all the roster holes.

I don't know what people watched to think we have a "Super Bowl" defense. Every time they needed a stop at the end of the game they let the other team march down the field and score.

This season is going to be a failure without an offensive line. It became a failure when they signed their two starting offensive tackles and failed to replace Long who was done before last season ever started.
