It's sad how the playoffs show Pace's incompetence.

Imagine the hysteria if Pace drafted Solomon Thomas third overall.

Bears would have been forced to solve QB via trade(Garrapallo) which would have made them the 2019 49ers

I'd rather have (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky than Gabagool.

The difference is in coaching. Shanahan zigged when the league zagged while Nagy ran his offense well after everyone else had it solved. The 49ers had a distinct offensive identity while the Bears really didn't last year (unless you count futility).

Bears issue is not a lack of talent. The roster is strong.

Lynch played DB in the league and understands that you build your lines first and you can find RB's and WR's anywhere. The most dangerous thing that happened this weekend is that Pace will be emboldened by the Chiefs win and think he can trot the same offense out next year, but KC has an otherworldly talent at QB and he has....well that's been discussed hear on hundreds of posts already.

He pantsed Pace on draft day, he's built a nice roster..he's in the SB. These guys are polar opposites.

I know that dumb prick Pace doubled down , when asked " would you still trade up and draft Mitch?"

He said he would do it all over again. That's a really dumb- stubborn guy. I don't see us making a SB with this dipshit calling the shots.

You know what he said and what he was thinking are 2 different things. He knows he made a mistake, but admitting it to the media would just pretty much make (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky lose any confidence he still has left.

You answer that with a " i don't deal in hindsight" next question.

You never double down on awful decisions and refuse to admit mistakes.

Saying "I don't deal in hindsight" is almost admitting mistake, without actually saying it. Avoidance is suspicious :P :P

I kind of smiled when the announcers said towards the end of the game that Reid adjusted his game plan and the style he likes for this game in running the ball. This is the exact opposite of Nagy who is a slave to his philosophy

it's just very damning that given the many QB's in that draft ryan pace was so convinced the one year wonder boy was the guy he gave up assets to move up a single spot so he could be drafted.... because had some other team swooped in to 2 to take mitchell ryan could not have lived with the other guys that were left.

Yes it is. John Lynch knows football and what it takes to win. Pace is incompetent.
