both teams have played opponents whose record totals 1-8. Step up in class for both but obviously a much bigger step up in class for the Colts. One team will be exposed for the fraud they are while the Bears will be a glorious 4-0.

Bears 23
Colts 14

Early line is Colts -3.

We all know that shows that the Colts are better than the Bears.

Matt Nagy names Nick Foles starting quarterback for Chicago Bears
September 28, 2020

It didn’t take long for Nick Foles to become the starting quarterback in Chicago. After losing out in the offseason QB battle to Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky, Foles is now the starter for Week 4.

Foles replaced (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky in the Week 3 win over the Atlanta Falcons, taking over in the second half and helping lead Chicago to a thrilling comeback win over the Falcons. The quarterback threw for 188 yards, three touchdowns and just one interception in his one half on Sunday. Now, he will get a full game as head coach Matt Nagy officially named him the starter for Week 4.

The Bears acquired Foles from Jacksonville for a fourth-round pick back in March, bringing him in for a competition with (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. But with an unusual offseason, he fell behind in the race and eventually lost to (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

However, with a 3-0 Bears team off to a good start on the year, Foles has the chance to lead this team for the rest of the season and get them to the playoffs.

I would guess that the line closes around a PK, maybe Indy -1.5. Dunno if I can see it swinging to Bears as favorites. The Colts are pretty damn good, and they're well-coached. Like the Bears, they've also played shit teams, but they utterly demolished Min and NYJ. Not sure what that week 1 performance was versus Jacksonville. IIRC, though, they still had like 450 yds of total offense. Bad Rivers INT's maybe.

It's obviously early but so far the D seems to be playing at the same level they did last year. That is to say they're good, but not elite. Enough to win however if the offense can pull its own weight. If this team averages 21-24 points then that should be enough to qualify for the post-season. The Colts have only faced one decent-ish team and totally annihilated the backwards ass Jets. Their defense will be a good test for Foles and the offense at this early point of the season.

I think you are going to see a resurgence of the defense now that they know the offense can do their part and put up 30 if need be.

Foles likely will be more consistent that Mitch which should lead to at least a few more first downs each quarter, that will help keep the veteran D fresh, no more empty quarters where Mitch turns the ball over of misses an easy first down check down read.

All Foles needs to do is what Mitch couldn't do. Put up 25-28 points a game and they win. I'm picking the Bears

Would be funny if the Big Dick Nick thing was just a joke by his Eagles buddies and he actually was packing a pinky finger.

Patriots-Chiefs was the near-national late game and has been postponed, CBS didn't want to roll with Bills-Raiders as the only game in that slot.

Bills-Raiders would have been a perfectly acceptable late game for early '90s AFC on NBC, for whatever that's worth. I suppose Dick Enberg hasn't been taking calls.

Josh Allen is an early mvp candidate, so I don’t really see what the problem is with them being the main game.

Doesn’t really matter tho.

I was thinking the same thing. Two up-and-coming teams with regional fanbases, it would have been fine in a pinch. But I guess if they can put an undefeated Chicago in the back end of the doubleheader, they will. s'fine.

Nick Foles is a national draw on account of how many teams he has played for.

70% of the country is getting Bills/RAIDERS as the late game.

I haven't seen the new maps yet. The last one was the whole country getting Pats-Chiefs minus Buffalo, Rochester, Las Vegas, and San Francisco.

Tyler Bray promoted to the active roster.

Who the fuck would want to sign this mope away from the Bears?

Hopefully this is just to insure that Mitch doesn't get injured somehow and guarantee his 5th year option.

Maybe the Bears are trading Mitch to the Broncos
