Stat Padford shouldn't scare anyone. If our defense decides to actually earn their money, I see multiple takeaways. That should be enough for our offense to put some points on the board.

Like I said in the other thread, Stafford has all that pent up frustration from losing to the Bears with those pathetic lions teams. He wants to prove he's a a super Bowl QB with a decent team. Bears defense get get lit up.

The Rams haven't exactly dominated the Bears, and I don't expect that to change. It'll be a close game and Padford will likely wet the bed when it matters most.

I could see a low scoring game early on due to sloppy play but if the offense looks as bad as they did in the preseason eventually the defense will wear out and the floodgates will open. I'm not convinced the defense is that good to begin with this year, so I don't see it being a close game from the get go.

Nagy forgets about the running game. MANY 3 and outs. Bears struggle to get out of their own way.

Anything else will be a pleasant surprise.

Seems to me that Nagy has committed to Dalton starting this game mainly to satisfy whatever promises were made by Pace when they signed him. After the first snap/series/game, all bets are off.
