That would be repeating the same mistake of hiring an OC who happened to have a great QB.

Not according to Ian Eagle's summation of a conversation he relayed from Bill Bellichik yesterday.

He said Daboll could coach ANY position on an NFL team, and do it very well too.

That's incredibly rare. Nagy can't coach QB's or be an offensive coordinator.

The Ravens O Coordinator is something. More so then Daboll.

Pretty sure the same trend holds true in regards to hiring an offensive minded person as head coach.

If we as Bears fans want sustained offensive success (Which is something none of us have seen in our lifetimes) then the McCaskeys need to hire someone who can’t be poached during the off-season because he is only a coordinator on this team.

Anyone longing for a defensive minded coach (Or fucking Jim Harbaugh) is a non starter for me.

If Mike Tomlin or John Harbaugh got fired, you wouldn't be interested?

Yeah I was going to add I’d be open to CEO types like that, but the lifetime lack of offense is more of a priority for me.

Josh Allen won't like that.

I would be shocked if either of those two got canned after this season.

I've been saying this as well. The TB O coordinator is perhaps a classic example. So your rise to the top as an offensive powerhouse coincides with the acquisition of Brady...hmm. I'd be more interested in his body of work pre Brady. How well did the team perform without a HOF QB.
