Sorry if this thread already exists.

Olin was speaking my language about off-season needs, and seems really knowledgeable about fixing this team.

He was all about getting the O-line fixed.

Said to sign the best FA LT you can find, and then put Jenkins at RT while moving Borom to RG.

His reasoning was he’s tired of guessing whether or not someone can play LT.

Need to find someone proven.

Good stuff.

I made a comment in today’s Bears thread about the O-line. I felt they have been decent in the run game, i looked it up, and they rank eight in total yards. But in the pass game, they are at the bottom in sacks allowed. I agree that getting left tackle solved would be a massive help. It might be all they really need on the O-line.

Thats the problem. Nobody let's a really good LT go.

They desperately need an upgrade at center. Also, Daniels is a free agent. It will be interesting to see what it will take to re-sign him. Whitehair is just a guy at LG.

Not a big fan of the Kapster, but the show is way better with him than it was with Holmes, Kap actually tries to get specific analysis out of Olin where Holmes just wanted to do a grab ass show where he just looked happy to be there with Ex-NFL guys.

Do think they can upgrade at C significantly in free agency and maybe throw some money at a quality guard if they really want to upgrade the interior because Daniels and Whitehair are basically just replacement level guys. However, upgraded play calling and play design will help the offense, watching Nagy try to outsmart the D with his endless shotgun runs when his center and usually at least one of his guards get blown up by big physical DT's every time is not only frustrating, but makes you wonder if watches Hub's imaginary game tape.
