Its pretty obvious flus has to go. And the bears positively need to spend most of the draft getting a center, a couple tackles and a guard.

But I'm gonna say we've got our guy at QB.
14/5 TD to int ratio
2612 yards
61.6% completion
86 rating... thats after two 50 ratings in his first two nfl games...
Clear improvement each week, not eye test, by stats.

He's young and a rookie. Expecting veteran performance is silly. But he's learning and progressing each week with sub standard coaching.

I'm thinking we have our guy.

He rose to the occasion today against a good Detroit team.

Most telling is that he led that last drive starting from the Bears 1 and made a tough 3rd down conversion on that first set of downs with all of Ford Field against him.

He scrambled well today but at times held the ball too long. Altogether, it was his best game so far. He's got good rapport with his receivers, which is important.

He couldn’t even get a first down until Detroit lost 9/11 starters to injury. When he was playing Detroit’s starters it was over, when it went to Detroit’s third stringers he once again did just enough to lose.

Also the horseshoe up this guys ass (he probably likes the feeling tbh) is getting bigger every week. How many picks are teams gonna drop? Yeesh. This was really one of his worst performances of the year, not quite as bad as New England but he was dreadful.

He does look good but let's not forget how many bad teams the Lions had with Matthew Stafford. The Bears organization under George is pathetic.

Has Caleb Williams ever played a good game?

The bar for Bears QB's is extremely low, but Caleb likely finishes with somewhere around 3300 yards passing in his first 16 games which would be top 5 all time for the franchise for single season passing yards.

You give him competent coaches and an average offensive line and he likely shatters all the Bears single season passing yards next year.

No QB had thrown for more than 1 TD against the Lions this season. Caleb Williams had 3 yesterday.
