Niners are in free fall, mostly due to injuries, always interesting how players begin to make business decisions when they see there is no hope for the season.

Bears are likely 3-7 points to the good for the rest of the season just by launching Flus who was always good for leaving points on the table due to clock mismanagement.

Will be an interesting watch early to see how much the new DC is willing to bring pressure and more importantly disguise coverages. Teams will continue to hammer the Bears with the run until they show they can adjust, expect the Niners to do the same.

The Niners are as beat up as the Lions D.

Push.

The Niners are only two games back in their division with only one really dangerous opponent left. They’re in trouble, but they are distinctly not dead. Meanwhile the Bears are dead, and all the optimism around this game is fueled by mystical thinking. I’ve never seen more faith put into a “fired coach bounce” than this one.

San Francisco just has too much winning pedigree under Kyle Shanahan to flush their faint playoff hopes down the toilet at home against the likes of the Bears. They’ve had tough opponents these last two weeks, they have a get-right game against the weakest team left on their schedule to set up a desperate push.

I think that the Bear's are going to have a good game and will win with Thomas Brown. I listened to an interview with Sean McVay who really went out of his way with high praise for him. Certainly this is a great opportunity for him and i hope the team steps up to the occasion.

Bears D is a great matchup for the Niners zone run game, Lions TE's were blowing up the Bears DE's which opened up huge holes, expect that same approach from the Niners, it will be interesting to see how the new DC handles this glaring weakness.

Williams and Bosa are questionable and Niners are down to their 3rd or 4th string RB, maybe this is a spot for the Bears to run the ball and bring more pressure in the pass game.

Will be watching more to see if they get away from the vanilla stuff Eberflus called on D and if they execute better offensively.

Rest of the season is more of an evaluation process to see if the guys they have are worth keeping around, expect wholesale changes on both lines, and have a suspicion that most of the offensive and defensive lineman that Poles has picked will be backups or gone when the new HC takes over.

Bosa downgraded to out. Bears lucky run continues.

I think this is a game that the Bear's win. They are getting healthier while the 9ers are hurting.

There's a reason why the line's moved from Bears +5.5 to Bears +3 over the last week.

A lot of things in Bears favor, injuries ,travel, days between games.
Bosa out is obviously big.
Lombardi's kid is on the 49er staff so he chooses his words carefully.
He said SF "has a lot of pride" which sounds like they haven't quit.
See what happens.

Pretty obvious hands to the face penalty on that completion to Kittle

Early returns.. the Bears look overmatched and completely unprepared to play football today.

I think anyone worried about Thomas Brown being the next HC can relax knowing he isn’t.

Now it will be interesting to see how this effects Caleb being on his 3rd OC in just his 1st season.

They should have let Brown stay upstairs and just worry about the offense. They gave him too much too soon.

The offensive play calling is bad.. wr’s running to the same spots as one another, no rhythm.. O-line seems confused.

I get that they had to do something with Eberfuck.. but he allowed guys to do their jobs and provided a little bit of stability.

This might get really ugly.

Brown may wind up being relieved of duties over the next few games. What a fucking disaster. They should have picked an older Vet coach on the staff to be the HC

Once again the Bears are thoroughly dominated in the first qtr. Shocking! But hold on and applaud as Caleb will once again work his 4th qtr "magic" with the Bears down 3 scores .
