I cringed when they gave him his extension. I cringe every time I hear him say "Rex is our quarterback." I cringe the last game or two of the season when he plays to lose. I cringe that he plays to lose the last game or two of the season (to prevent injuries) but he doesn't protect Greg Olsen (sp?) in a meaningless preseason game.

So much cringing I have North's constipated look permanently etched to my face.

My grandmother could have coached last year's team to a winning record - hell, most any of us on this board could have. Most experienced coaches could have brought that team to the late playoffs or Super Bowl. So why the lovefest for Lovie?

No Lovefest from me. I think he is a bad game coach. After a couple years, he should be learning how to manage a clock, better down and distance play calls, etc. He doesn't seem to be learning from previous mistakes. He is also an arrogant cock, which is usually a good thing in a coach, but to read this board there are a whole lot of pissed off fans that want to see Mr. Know-It-All make some changes.

I cant fucking believe he said Rex is our quarterback again. That could go down in infamy on the same level of Rick Pitino's "Larry Bird isnt walking through that door!"

My question for the Coaching staff as a whole is this: where the fuck are the adjustments? No adjustments on Offense, none on Defense. Their opponents have made half-time adjustments and consistently outplayed them in the second half of the game (even last year where the Bears were frequently able to blitz the other team in the first half).

This goes all the way back to the debacle against Carolina where they watches Steve Smith burn them, and yet failed to adjust at halftime.

Well said Matt. From here on out, the blame needs to go on Lovie for continuing this fiasco.

The Bears don't know how to make adjustments. Not under Lovie nor Dick Jauron... I forget if Wannie's staff could, but given as how Turner was there then, my thought is "no".

He has been outcoached by Norv Turner and Wade Phillips.

'Nuff said.

His statements yesterday, WTF? I don't know what I was thinking, but I thought we might finally get some straight talk from this guy. Instead we get the same run around BS. Then he tells us to basically fuck off and wait until Wednesday to get our answer about the QB position, the guys a clown.

I have yet to see the Bears make one single adjustment in a game, let alone at halftime.
