Even before Cedric Benson got busted for alleged boating while intoxicated, his performance was not very productive for a player taken #4 overall in the NFL Draft. He was slow, tentative and coming off a nasty ankle injury that was feared to be a career-ender. With his latest DUI arrest, Benson has got to go, even if it means a salary cap hit this season for the Chicago Bears. If there's anything that the Bears will NEVER tolerate again following the Terry "Tank" Johnson incidents, it's players who tarnish their image. The Bears have to cut their losses and move forward more than ever. If they don't, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will.

Actually, it was a DWI, driving while intoxicated, which I think is a much more serious offense than DUI. I think it means he was really f-ed up when they caught him.
