Per the mothership at chicagobears.com - Lovie says that DM will be with the first team at FS and then Steltz will slide to FS on nickel packages with DM playing the nickel back.

I think Manning is a great athlete (he's the fastest guy on the team, including Hester), but he's got the instincts of dead cat.

Not good. Safety should have been addressed this off season and now they are in a world of shit. Manning can't cover or tackle.

This is what Lovie gets for ignoring the CB & WR position. If Peanut misses games, & I believe that he will, the Bears are in for a long season of watching football get launched downfield against them.
