SI has the Bears getting to the Super Bowl.

They see it this way:

1. Bears 11 - 5
2. Vikings 10 - 6
3. Packers 10 - 6
4. Lions 3 -13

Divisional round
Bears 27 Vikes 25

NFC Championship
Bears 16 Pack 13

Super Bowl
Pats 30 Bears 27

I would be very happy with this season.

Pete Schrager on Foxsports has them losing to the Steelers in the SB.

No kidding? Wow...I didnt expect this much love for the Bears this year. But if the Cardinals can get to the Super Bowl at 9 - 7, anything is possible.

By the way, the Bears have THE easiest schedule in the NFL this year. However, the Vikes have the 2nd easiest & the Packers the 3rd easiest.

Here is the breakdown for the NFC North:

BEARS
Schedule Strength 32
Opponents 2008 winning % .414
Games against Playof Teams 7

VIKINGS
Schedule Strength 31
Opponents 2008 winning % .420
Games against Playof Teams 5

PACKERS
Schedule Strength 30
Opponents 2008 winning % .428
Games against Playof Teams 5

LIONS
Schedule Strength 21
Opponents 2008 winning % .467
Games against Playof Teams 5

Hub Arkush, who will be holding court on 670 The SCORE & 670thescore.com come 10p tonight following tonight's Bears/Browns' preseason finale at Soldier Field, believes the Bears are a 6-10 or an 11-5 team, even with Jay Cutler at quarterback. I think Hub's got issues with the receiving corp, plus the defense, specifically the lack of a pass rush and a secondary that's ripe for the picking...

Then Hub isn't as football smart as I thought he was.
The Bears were 9-7 last year with a stiff at QB & a more difficult schedule.
This year we have a Pro Bowl QB and the easiest schedule in the league.
Of the Bears 8 road games, only 2 are against teams who made the playoffs.

If this doesnt equate to at least 2 more victories, then Lovie should be fired after this season.

Hey Scorehead, as much as I can't stand ESPN's Chris Berman, he's right about one thing about the NFL. "This is why they play the games!"

I hear ya, but it is just plain stupid of Hub to think the Bears are a 6 - 10 team. If I remember correctly, Hub thinks the Bears will suck every year.

The league changes so much from year to year, I'm not sure it matters, but any team with 2 games against a team that went 0-16 the previous year is going to have an easy schedule by winning percentage. 7 games against playoff teams seems tough to me, again things change though.

True, but as a Cubs fan I enjoy hearing Stone rip Soriano, Bradley, & the stupid moves the the Cubs made this year.

That's what Hub said, RP Bryan...I tend to think 10-6 will do the trick for the Bears...

6-10 to 11-5 huh? Hell I'd wager a bet that at least 80% of the league will have a record somewhere in there.
