For always keeping his team prepared to play! The effort win or lose is there. My question to Bear fans, when was the last game that the Bears got the snot kicked out of them?
Coaches like Jeff Fisher & Tom Coughlin have had teams unprepared to play on Sunday.
I give Lovie much credit for team preparedness. During the game, coaching errors occur but you can say that about any Head coach over time.

Jimmy - I am still trying to determine if this is a true shoutout or a hoax?

No hoax,I like Lovie. I think it's taken for granted that the Bears "will make a game of it" every Sunday, win or lose.

They lost divisional games by 20 and 34 last year.

Havent been blown out this year, perhaps your shoutout would be better aimed at Jay Cutler.

It's not trendy or cool to like Lovie right now, but I'll take him over just about any other douchebag who coached this team, short of Halas and Ditka.

People seem to forget The Suck that was the Dick Jauron Era. I hate Dick Jauron.

I am truly hoping that Tennessee continues to suck and that they are forced to fire Fisher.

I'll take Fisher or Bill Cowher over anyone else out there.

C'mon pasta, this is a win/lose job. Has your noodle been soaking in water too long. Having you team prepared and losing is not good enough. Your team has weak links on the offensive line, A good Head coach would see that and put the best player in regardless of his pay! Are you suggesting Kevin Shaffer over Orlando Pace at tackle? Moving Williams to the left side and Shaffer to the right? Wow, I hope not. I was fine with Omiyale up until this Atlanta game. I think Lovie showed the right amount of patience with the FA acquisition. As long as Beekman is in for Cincy what example has he not put the best player in this year?

So, I take it you haven't gotten around to watching the Atlanta game yet.

The line was playing very well last season with Buzen in there.

The Lovie Smith press conference should be a hoot today. The Bears are 0-2 to start the second quarter of the season!

He will dismiss what happened yesterday. Will try and put everyone's mind at ease that he knows what he's doing. But Lovie's Bear life will never be the same after Sunday. I think exposed might be a mild word to use...

I'll be surprised if Lovie takes questions at his press conference today.
