As die hard Bears fans, what the fuck are we supposed to do if Green Bay plays Minnesota in the NFC Championship Game (besides root for Ron Rivera's Chargers)?

I loathe Favre, and would love to see the Packers bounce him.

Then again, I can't stand Packers fans, and would hate to see them not only have the satisfaction of beating Favre, but going to the Super Bowl.

AFC BABY!!!

The only 2 teams on the NFC side that I dont really dislike are the Saints and the Cardinals. But I can see a situation where I would be pulling for the Packers this year. I would rather them win than the Purple primadonna.

I really don't think we'll have to worry about that matchup in the NFC title game, Twister. Everybody thought the Falcons were going to win in the desert last year, and everybody thinks the Packers are going to win in the desert this year.

NFC is a total crapshoot this year. Then again, nobody thought Arizona would have been the NFC rep last year...

It's weird. I think I'd actually pull for the Pack. I like Rodgers. I kinda accept Woodson.

I don't like Favre. Or purple.

I don't care once the playoffs start. If the Bears don't make it they're all the same. The only team I hate is the Cowboys. I want the Bears to win the division over the Packers and Viking but I don't hate them.

Vikings/Packers NFC Championship wouldn't bother me. I'd root for the Vikings cuz I'd like to see Favre in a SB.

I dont care who the teams are - I can not wait for the playoffs to start. I love the action. the drama, and all of the second-guessing that occurs every year. I don;t wish success for either GB or MIN, but if the two of them play in the NFC championship, it will be great theater.

Another reason why I would prefer GB over MIN: that hayseed DE that cuts his own hair with a weed-wacker. I don't like him.

Never before have the two top teams in a conference been so dependent on their home field advantage for their success. Both the Saints & Vikes would lose to any of the other NFC teams if they had to play them on the road, which obviously they wont. This is a really difficult year to pick the playoff games. All of the Defenses suck, & all of the Offenses are good. Get ready for a ton of points. I like the home team in all 4 games this weekend.

Everyone should root for the Vikings. It would probably be the worst day in Packer history to lose to the Vikings with Brett Favre running the team. The Packers desperately wanted to avoid Favre ever wearing a Vikings uniform and if he has a chance to bounce them from the playoffs that will be something they would never forget. I don't like the Vikings either but if they win it all it won't be that big of a deal. I'd still be rooting for the AFC team in the Super Bowl though.

What would be ideal would be if Favre won the Super Bowl this year, won the MVP, retired, and in 5 years went into the hall of fame as a Minnesota Viking because he had the best season of his career in Minnesota. I know that won't happen but it would be awesome.

I wish that the Mavericks weren't getting the shaft by the NFL down in big D.

How about not watching the game and then rooting for the winner to get absolutely slaughtered in the Super Bowl?

It wouldn't matter. He'd just point right back and laugh about Cutler's INTs and that at least his QB got into the playoffs. It would be some poetic justice maybe if a Packer fan named "Favre Fan" was knocked out of the playoffs by a purple Farve.

I'm indifferent to the Packers. I root against them because they are in the Bears division, but I really don't care either way for them. I absolutely loathe the Viqueens and the Twins. Jared Allen can take his calf roping and shove it up his hillbilly ass.

yeah that works for bears fans i guess. when the saints are out of it, and the eagles, i have no rooting interest at all but i'm totally with you on rooting for an AFC team in the super bowl if those two aren't in it.

I'm not rooting for it to happen. I hope both of them lose the first time they play.

I'll take a Jets-Saints Super Bowl.

If the Jets make the Super Bowl, I will never watch another non-Bears NFL game in my life. I am completely serious.

It'd be pretty sweet if the Jets end up beating Indy.

I hope Villanova loses every game because it will make you feel bad.

Not gonna happen. Although you guys already laughed at me for saying Rodgers is an elite QB.

Well the MVP is out of the question. Even if the Vikings win the SB, there's no chance he'd go in as a Viking. He'd have to win back to back SB's with them for it to be even a debate. 5 years from now he will be welcomed back to GB and the fans will forgive him for wearing Purple. He wont win a SB with them

Yes but I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong. You guys hate when I'm right.

Also, I was very off on Minnesota. I wasn't far off on GB. After Week 3 I said they'd finish 11-5. Before the season I think I said 12-4.

You are alright in my book FF, you may like the Packers but at least you understand my frustration with JohnKirk.
