The Kansas City Royals last won a world series that year. That kind of puts things in perspective. We should be much harder on this team than we are.

As a Cubs fan...I could only wish they won the world series as recent as 1985.

Dont let anyone (B&B) ruin your memories of 1985. That was the most fun I have ever had as a sports fan in Chicago. I'm not sure even a Cubs World Series win would equal what we experienced in 1985. What a year that was in Chicago.

This sounds like a good February talk radio topic.

Loyola Academy beat Mt. Carmel TWICE in 2009.
