Last year the Kyle Orton lead Broncos' went 6-0 and finished 8-8 and didn't make the playoffs ( revisionist history)

Something like that could easily happen to the bears this year. After week 8 the schedule is absolutely brutal. Vikings twice, Packers, Jets, Patriots, Dolphins and Eagles. The "winnable" game is the Lions in Detroit.

This is going to be a weird season. I don't know if the Vikings will ever come together and they could get one from them. I keep waiting for the total collapse of the Patriots. Maybe by the end of the season Miami's offense will get things together but for now they aren't good. I see the Eagles as an 8-8 team this year too.

You got some crystal balls you are looking into this year?

Good news for the Bears -- he may be out for a week or two.

The Patriots did not look good yesterday
