While I agree this game shouldn't be played on this field cuz, in this day and age, all NFL fields are heated and that's what NFL players should have afforded to them, but people are acting like this has never been done before and everybody is gonna die.

Into the 1990s many fields weren't heated. Bears played games on real bad frozen artificial turf at Soldier Field. A lot of cold weather teams did until recently. It's not ideal but it can be done. You'd think this is the first time by what some are saying.

If you were having surgery, and the hospital didn't have any anesthetics, would you stay there? Even if the next hospital had them? Back in the old days, people didn't have anesthetics. You'd be fine, right?

Even in the 70's they did cover the fields, so the snow did not sit on the field and portions that did melt would then get into the soil and freeze.

I agree these guys played on shit fields and in shit weather, but when you have the ability to play a better game elsewhere, just do so and the Vikings little party should not determine the location as it has.

Sounds like the fans will have quite a shitty time as well/

this game is going to be very anti-climactic after all the hand-wringing about player safety this week. the biggest danger at that game will be frostbite for the fans.
