Five years might be a little much for my liking for Hunter, however I still like the guy. Definitely a solid player and a good sign to me that the Bears are attempting to lock down more players long-term.

Why? They can cut him whenever they want. And if they keep him all 5 yrs, they can spread the signing bonus over all 5 yrs(provided he received a signing bonus).
