He's putting it on a dime just about every throw this pre season. Had it not been for 7 or 8 drops by Bears receivers he'd show much better in the stats. When the line gives him time he can get it done. He's also in better shape. He lost the 2nd chin and the slight gut. That probably came from less boozing. He'll never admit it publicly but it bothered him that critics thought he quit in the NFC championship. That's why he worked on his drops and foot work in the off season. He's motivated. He's also decided not to be a jag when he stand before the media. Plus he dumped the fiance and you can tell he's very happy about that decision. He seems more happy and at peace with himself. He's gonna have a great year. Pre season means nothing but it's nice to see him looking like the stud that he can be. He'll be a top 5 QB this year.

Brady
Rodgers
Manning
Brees
Cutler

There is one glaring omission in your list.

Watching it right now and Cutlers throws have looked great. Too bad he doesn't have a real WR to throw to! This team gets almost NO YAC.

One REAL SUPERSTAR WR like Chad Ocho Johnson who catches the ball on the run, would make Bennett a great threat as he is the only one who runs after the catch and he plays the middle of the field!

It's not 2006. I think the receivers look pretty good. That Salzenbacher (sp) kid looks pretty good. Hester looks much better. Williams looks like shit. Cutler has under thrown a few balls that would have been big gainers, but it would seem that most of the time our receivers are wide open. Something that I always hated when the Bears played the Rams back in the day.

The O could be top 5 this year. Too bad the defense looks horrible. The LB's are really shitty.

i dunno bout all that, bottom 5 to top 5 is a huge leap...i think the offense will be better though..cutler looks real good, that interception was strange..2 receivers within 8 feet of each other in the middle of the field? either someone ran the wrong route or martz is a moron..that ball was actually thrown on target but 4 titans were right there..hester looks the same to me as he did 3 years ago as a receiver..not good
