Oh it's coming! It won't be an excuse, but Lovie will mention it and says "It's not an excuse!"

Next 6 weeks

Monday Night @ Det "Tough place to play, Monday night, that guys is BIG"
Sunday Night @ Minn "We had a tough one Monday night, quick turnaround on the road"
Sunday v TB in LONDON "Flying Oversees is tough"
Bye 'Gonna work on tweaking some things"
Monday Night in Philly "After a bye week, always tough to get back into it"
Sunday v Det "Played so many night games. this one is our first day game in over a month"

I think it will be something like this....

"We need to score in all 3 phases of the game"
"We really need to get the special teams phase of our game to score points"
"We didn't get all 3 phases of the game going tonight"
"It takes all 3 phases scoring points for this team to win"
"We need to get Devin going. The 3rd phase is critical for our success"
"It's tough to win in the national football league when you can't score in all 3 phases of the game"

I don't know about Lovie but as a fan I really like a regular 12 o'clock start time. Give me two night starts per year, one in mid October to go pumpkin picking and one the weekend of Thanksgiving to get a tree, and I would be thrilled.

Why would he give excuses for going 5-0 in the next 6 weeks?

(1) They had to play teams that didn't start a 3rd string QB (played 2 such teams last season)
(2) They had to play teams without both CB's out due to injury ((happened last season in the game vs Philly)
(3) Had to play teams that refused to commit enough infractions for the refs to call 18 penalties against the (GB) that resulted in 2 negated 2 interceptions by Cutler and a touchdown for the opponant (Finley)
(4) Had to play a 1st place schedulethis season, rather than an easier schedule like we had in 2010.

The Bears continue to be who I thought they'd be the past couple of years. A slightly above average team 8 to 9 win team, that will win or lose a game or two based upon injuries to them or their opposition.

They went to the conference championship last season.

...and why was that? Injuries to their opponent throughout the season. Some said Lovie had a 'lucky horseshoe up his ass'.

And that person is a moron. If the Giants don't choke and blow a huge lead to the Eagles, the packers are out of the playoffs. Everyone has some luck.
