I understand an immediate change of Angelo and Phillips would not change anything today, but I think they have had the jobs long enough to display what they are all about.
Or does being in the Super Bowl in 2006 and being in a Championship game last year mean that they are not to be questioned?
Or can someone think that the same core players and reasons got us to both places? Urlacher, Briggs, Tillman, Hester runbacks and it's just not getting better, with still nothing on the horizon?
The reason I would make a change right away is the NFL is full of players who can be signed, that have upsides. I see big WR's all over this league making impacts, that could have been signed, I see new LB's, DE's.
The point being that front office needs to triple it's scouting department and be ready to sign guys all over this league.
Our starters are 2nd and 3rd guys on many other teams and it's time to start getting ready to sign a huge mess of guys.
I am not talking about huge signings, but give me an up n coming DE for $2 Mill and a rook, for $500K, instead of Anthony Adams Belly and Joe T for $1.5 Mil each.
