How about all the coaches since Ditka? All the same guy. Stubborn, hardheaded and boring as all hell. Except maybe Wanny. He was kind of funny.

I'll repeat my earlier post:

I have no idea how the Bears can consistently find guys that inspire zero confidence. He sounds like a more refined Angelo.

He sure as hell better draft a lot better than he conveys his vision for the Bears.

Yeah all the same guy other than the fact that Lovie is actually a good head coach whereas Jauron and Wanny suck donkey balls.

What evidence do we have that says Lovie Smith is a good head football coach?
I'll hang up & listen for my answer.

We have been through this 8,923 times. It will not matter what is said, you will choose to maintain your ignorance, so do us all a favor and take that phone and stick it straight up your ass

So you don't have any evidence?

1 playoff appearance in the last 5 years,

42 - 38 record the last 5 years.

4 winning seasons out of 8.

71 - 57 record, .555 winning %.

3-3 playoff record.

These results are mediocre & average at best.

If Lovie worked for me he would be on probation & a performance improvement pan.

Lovie's yearly salary is $4.8. You could find hundreds of head coaches who could achieve these results for much less than $4.8 Million per year.

I expect better results from the Chicago Bears. This just isn't good enough.

The Bears need to raise the bar & expect better results.

  Scorehead, I am not saying Lovie is a legendary coach by any means, but even you have to understand how full of shit you sound when you say something like this

I expect better results from someone who makes $4.8 million per year. Mediocrity is cheap.

Don't change things around, Scorehead. You can't backpedal now. This statement is totally different from "You could find hundreds of head coaches" who have gotten the results that Lovie has.
