Bears' fans, it seems hard to believe, but NOT everyone has cable or satellite. As a public service for fans seeking the "Monday Night Football" game between the Bears & Cowboys at "the House That Jerry (Jones) Built", better known as Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX this coming Monday night, you'll find it somewhere other than ABC7 locally.

Thanks to an episode of "Dancing with the Stars" airing LIVE @ 7P on ABC7, you'll find ESPN's call of the Bears/Cowboys' game locally on WGN's CW9 this coming Monday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30P with Mike Tirico, Jon Gruden & sideline reporter Lisa Salters providing the descriptions on BOTH ESPN & on Channel 9 locally. WGN Sports will have live, local pregame @ 7P Monday as well as postgame afterwards from Cowboys Stadium.

This is the first of 3 "MNF" games that the Bears will be featured this season. They also have an October 22nd home game vs. Calvin Johnson & the Lions and a November 19th road game in San Francisco vs. Alex Smith, Frank Gore and the 49ers. It's unclear if WGN will carry the other 2 Bears' "MNF" games or if those games will get moved over to another Chicago station such as WCIU 26 The U, which carried the Bears' 2 "MNF" games a season ago.

Normally, when ESPN has the Bears featured on "Monday Night Football", ABC7 would normally pre-empt ABC programming to carry the game, considering the fact ABC7 & ESPN are units of parent company The Walt Disney Company. Usually, ABC shows would be relegated to the wee hours of the morning on tape delay when a Bears' "MNF" game had aired on ABC7 locally. In recent years, thanks to "DWTS" and the facts that the show is LIVE & only has a short window for fans to cast ballots by phone & Internet, ABC7 hasn't been able to carry ESPN's feed of "MNF" due to the "DWTS" conflict.
