not sure about the play calling so far. i like the fact that we're running but rex has proven to be effective over the middle. what's up with the weak pass plays?

What an ugly half of offense. Rex better get it together. I'd like to see Benson get more touches in the second half.

It wasn't pretty, but it still counts just the same.

Good teams win ugly games like this.

A quality road victory today - yeah, the passing game had it's share of struggles today, but the running game/defense were excellent and they now have a chance to sweep this road trip.

Just waiting for Hub to call for either a loss to NE (which I think he called 2 weeks ago), or another close game that the Bears could be in trouble.

Now that I'm thinking a little more, I think he did say before the Giants game that the Bears would lose to the Patriots, and that both games vs. NY teams would be close games that the Bears could be in some trouble.

I'm sure the game after the Patriots game, home vs Minny, wil be the trap game you're referring to.

I thought Rex played ok, despite shitty numbers. He didn't try and do too much, and didn't turn the ball over. They can win without him on his "A" game...just as long as he doesn't poop down his leg like the Miami game.

man is this great. sure, rex isnt johnny unitas, and the bears run D has some holes., and hester has his problems. but you know what, ill take it.

not all that long ago, it would take the beloved 2 full SEASONS to win 9 games. here they've done it in 10 weeks.

keep sipping the kool aid...

This game gave me more confidence in Rex than any game this season. He didn't have to win this game, and he didn't act like he had to. I said after the last game that he has to find a way to not lose games when he is not having a good game. He did that, and while we play teams much better than the Jets, it is encouraging to see that he didn't force too much.

What the hell was that?! A team that plays like that ain't gonna go far. Defense giving up big plays. Offense not doing shit. They're going to lose every last one of their games this year. They suck on every level!

Aww..who am I kidding? I just wanted to get Nas fired up.

A win is a win.

I think Bradley is going to be special. He has the ability to make plays after the catch.

I've been ridin' Bradley's jock since last year. I was aghast when I heard that this team, weak receiving core and all, was down on him. Please! Looks like I was right to be high on Bradley.

Berrian hurt the team today by being selfish. He should have sat the game out because he wasn't ready.

Possibly so. But still, I'm excited as all hell about the prospect of having a healthy Bradley and Berrian. Add Moos, and you have yourself a, *gasp*, fairly strong receiving core.

I was really pleased with the Bears game all around. Hester didn't catch the ball at his 2 yard line, Bears D played well today with two picks, and I thought Rex didn't try to do too much and force plays.

This game was boring in the first half, but I thought the Bears looked great even if the score was low. I think they can beat the Pats at Foxboro next Sunday.

Dislikes, can the TE's please learn how to block? Gilmore quit on that blocking assignment and got Rex sacked. He and Clark both need to help protect Rex alot better.

Rack me.

I would like to see the Bears keep Desmond Clark (I can't believe I'm saying that still) involved in the offense.

Last week, he did score a TD on his only catch of the day against the Giants, and today, I believe he only had the one catch again.

It's nitpicking, but I think it's important to keep him involved in the middle of the field...

That challenge by Lovie on the Jones fumble was sweet! Jones was motioning for Lovie to throw the flag, but I didn't think he'd challenge it.

Todd Johnson played great yesterday, but I thought he had too many tackles (11) yesterday. Cripes, he almost knocked Peanut out on that one play.

Oh, one more thing. Urlacher is still overrated.

Johnson was brought up in run support quite a bit and he made some sticks. Good game for him. Briggs was all over the field too. For some reason they kept running at him.
