If he doesn't call that time out at the half the Bears cover the spread. More importantly the Bears would only be down 1 at the end of the game and Rex wouldn't have to force the issue with 1:55 left. We could have played for a field goal to win the game.

Their kicker missed then made and Gould made then missed. This was a winable game.
Why did the Bear not go on 4th down with 4 min left? Why did Turner not run Benson more? Why can the front four get any pressure? Too many questions to suit me.
If the trend continues the Bear will be one and done again this year. I hope the trend changes, because this trend is not a bear fan's friend.

Game closed at NE -4.5 or 5 so Bears did get the "official" cover in Vegas. I had em at 5 so I loved that late NE fumble that kept NE from getting the FG that would have made it 7.

Winnable game on the road with the final possession. I'll take it.

Grossman's mistakes and Urlacher missing Brady aside, how about Mr. Tillman. Hey Peanut brain, the punter is leftfooted...

Thats was a coked up Michael Irvin special way before Roy started it.

Well, maybe Tom Brady's great-great-great-great grandmother...oh, never mind.

Actually, the bookies got hurt yesterday on the Bears game. They got middled. Rarely does a game pass the key numbers of 3 and 4 and then land in the middle. Astute New England bettors who saw the direction of the line bought early. And astute Bears bettors who watched the line inch up all week waited and bought in the last hour before game time and got 4.5 or even 5. Bookies paid all of them, including more than a few sharps who bought NE at 3 and then bought back the Bears at 5. And yes...by the official closing line used to document spread covers, the Bears covered yesterday.

Ok I didn't play it. I thought it was 3.5 line. Growing up my Dad was always looking for middles. He'd play games early in the week to get that chance if they moved later on. Well then Lovie helped get that for the middle players and the Bears covered for most I guess.
