This is just atrocious, Zaidman-ish type "reasoning" that has no place in any professional publication. There's no "familiar pattern" here, just some amateur, post-fact reasoning from a writer who doesn't know anything about causality, or the lack thereof.

Anyway, Marshall's attitude will obviously be an issue and one of Trestman's first, major tests in his capacity as a "leader of men." I sure hope the WR coaches and whoever else is there, including Cutler I guess, figure out how to make things work. Without an engaged Marshall, the offense will suffer now matter how crisp and coordinated Trestman can make it look.

It's the week before the season starts and we have two shitty baseball teams. Of course sports talk radio is going to act like this is the biggest news ever. Marshall will be back and ready to dominate week 1.
