i've got cutler throwing for 275 and 2 TDs.... marshall catches ~8/90 or thereabouts, prolly one of the touchdowns.... alshon goes for like ~5/60, maybe a touchdown.... otherwise it'll be someone goofy like martellus bennett or perhaps one of the new kids @ WR getting the 2nd touchdown. forte will rush for one or two himself, depending on whether or not the defense scores.

i think this bears team will come out of the gate hitting their passes and employing a quick 3 step drop game against that fearsome front-7 of the bengals, and for this week only it'll work swimmingly as they get a lead and add to it, eventually pulling away in the 3rd/4th quarter. i can see the bears up 24-14 in the third, cincinnati gets a FG to get within 7..... then the bears score again to get up 31-14, cinci answers with a FG and then the proverbial bus gets parked.

if trestman can get in a playcalling groove like he did against the raiders, i think the bears' offense has the personnel to average 24+ ppg this year, and 31pts tomorrow should be a good proper start. bear down!

but hey, if the bears gave him proper weapons to throw to on offense, you know, a tight end who can catch the ball.... and if trestman gets in his autistic groove picking out plays..... i'm telling you man, cutler has all of the tangibles.... it's that intangible in his head that makes him think whilst under heavy pressure "fuck it, i can make that throw" so like, not only does trestman have to playcall against defenses, he also has to playcall against jay's natural tendency to say "fuck it, i'm going deep/to-marshall" and welp, i, for one, can't wait to see how it turns out.

i still think when it's all said and done and the history books get written the bears will be very proud to have been the team with jay cutler (assuming we get another contract out of this, of course) as there's still time for him to "get it" and have a nice ~3-7 year run of top QB play before his career goes splat. the kid from santa claus indiana has some gifts he's yet to give us, IMO.

Good D, decent QB, probowl WR, and very interesting rookie x-factor at RB (Bernard) who could do some damage running and catching. That's all I know. Oh, and they made the playoffs last year.
