It's ok to say! he isnt a smart guy! He isnt the first athlete who isnt smart and wont be the last!

Devin isnt smart either!

But yet, when criticized it always needs to be couched hat they lack some understandings, or dont know how to say things in order to communicate a message.

How about "If they didnt play play football they would be lucky to be manning the fry machine!"

Its just how it is, it is what the do, they are good at football and thats it!

So when they say and do dumb stuff, its BECAUSE THEY ARE DUMB! and I just dont need to hear anymore sports media people making excuses for these guys who constantly do and say the wrong thing.

I know of a couple hot dog stands that bought a brand-new Manning The Fry Machine. It has a remarkable production rate, but if it malfunctions, it blames the employees.

Better question is what makes anyone think he is smart?

His most recent blabbering of "We had someone to fake an injury" was a dumb thing to say, as a guy who claims he is still tight with a number of players.

Yet, many sports media people are giving him credit for "giving the people what they want"....Come on! He just blabbed something he wishes he didnt because his guys are now on notice not to say anything to him about this team.

Urlacher isnt a media guy who needed to make a splash to keep his job, he just needed to be on time!

I am sure the producers are ecstatic he started talking shop, but every ex player I have heard said he was wrong for saying it.

Personally, have heard some great stories from some ex players, they would never share on the air, because any player with 1/20th of a brain understands some things are just left alone!

Also, if it makes more fries than its rated to make, it demands more money for outperforming its specs.

It takes talent to earn $100 mill by the age of 35 and then blow it all at the same time! Not many professions have that kind of high % of examples of this amazing feat!

No, I am not jealous, and no he is not broke, but I know many athletes that made millions and are broke.

Always thought Urlacher was miscast. This guy could have been an OLB and stacked up some big sack numbers.

If not for Barry Minter, who knows.

That would make him a normal athlete since most go broke soon after playing.

Yeah if it was such a bad offer by the Bears how come no other team tried to get you to play for them hmmmm? Someone needs to tell him to just shut his stupid mouth and he can get the Ditka golden retirement package here in Chicago. Can't wait to be drinking #54 bloody mary mix available at Binny's in 5 years.

Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher and the mother of his child have had the final issue in their custody battle decided by a judge.

It involved the logistics of getting the 16-month-old boy to Urlacher's Lake Forest home. He wanted the mother, 34-year-old Tyna Robertson, to drive the child from her Joliet-area home. She refused. So they will meet part way and exchange their son at the Hinsdale oasis on the Tri-State.

After the hearing, Robertson said she might appeal the ruling.

He wasn't Superman. I thought he was a lousy blitzer, too. Over his career though, there are to many big plays to say he wasn't something special.

The few teammates that didn't think 54 was a douchebag probably do now. What a turd. So all of his ex teammates called him when you left the Bears? No. Fox Sports will be sorry they signed this goof.

So now we think the best Bears player since Walter Payton is a stupid loser because he went on TV and said teams fake injuries? Who the fuck didn't think teams faked injuries?

I think it's a combination of dumb comments since he retired not just that one. Like for one the Bears disrespecting him by not backing up the Brinks truck when nobody else signed him anyway. Or bitching about Cutler not calling him after he retired. He is coming across like a dumb bitter ex-bf when the Bears have moved on to Marc Trestman and his luxurious mane. It would just be cool if he did his job as a commentator without having to focus so much negative energy towards the team that made him a millionaire. I still think he was an amazing football player and am glad he was a Bear.

I mean, no argument here that he's been a petty bitch during and after his career, but let's not pretend that the Chicago Bears organization is anything but the Raiders with less success and more old lady. I owe them no fealty as a fan. They suck. Urlacher was pretty damn good, though.
