The defense will at least have a breath of life with Bostic, but the LB's weren't really the problem, so I see another dip in play before the LB's get better, but the lack of players is such a concern, I dont even see the Defense maintaining the level they are playing at now, thus an impending decline is on the Horizon and I dont think they can stop it.
So, need to turn up the volume on the offense. Need to have a meeting with B and tell him he might not get the ball as much, because they are going to start sending 3 and even 4 WR sets! Anderson and Wilson need to see more time. These guys need to have a few thrown to them, short crossing patterns just to get them involved.
Wilson is a guy who many said if he stayed at Wash St had a chance to be a 1st round pick. 6'3" and ran great , crisp patterns. The guy had the best workout in the cone drill and the broad jump at the combine. This isnt just a "Pool Jumper", he produced while in college.
I assume he cant really block, just too thin at 185 #, but when running a spread offense, no real reason for him to block.
Maybe this is coach Trest's plan. RUN and Shoot?
They have no choice if they want to win. The problem with opening the playbook is Cutler's turnovers and bad decisions. It looks like Trestman doesn't trust Jay either after the DET and some of the PITT game where he started to go back to old Jay. However, with the Defense giving up so many points, they can't afford to play Lovie style offense like they did the second half against Giants.
