I don't get it...At least it made a little more since when Lovie did it as they were a solid defensive team and if the team scored on the first drive, it would take at least 8-10 plays, but now they can't stop anybody and they get gashed in the ground game, so it's almost like asking to be down an instant 7 points.

For this team, this is one little NFL fad that needs to be sealed back in it's case, at least until they can stop giving up 50+ yard runs. Sheesh...

I have been wondering the same thing for the past several weeks. I would think you would want to start the game with your strongest unit, whichever that may be. But what do I know, I am just a lifelong fan that was at the game (actually not this one).
