Can we start McCown on defense and punter too?

Podlesh has been more up then down this year. I don't know what happened to him.

This defense is so bad,it doesn't seem like it's really happening. I'm shocked at what I see.

All the more amazing is that this team has a chance going into the final week.

I think the Giants got creamed in their 9-7 team SB run, too.

At this point I want McCown to start just to shut people up. The team isnt doing anything in the postseason anyway. Let McCown start and if he fucks up I can laugh at people and if he continues this improbable streak the Bears can sneak into the playoffs and get killed at home in the first round.

You are right, but a lot of threads are just basic news stories that I think the CSFMB would find interesting. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm not.

I want Jay to start and earn his franchise tag!

If he blows it, especially v Flynn, then you do need to launch him, or make him one low ball offer and say goodbye. It would suck, but Jats record in big games has not be so impressive and thats called winning big games. If you cant do it, I just dont need you, no matter how many TDs you throw v Cleve, Minn and other bad teams.

This doesnt mean Mccown comes back either, because you are going to lose him. Go get Jake Locker!

You think wrong. The 2007 10-6 Giants won 3 road playoffs games and the beat the previously undefeated Patriots in the Super Bowl.

The 2011 9-7 New York Giants won 3 road playoff games and once again beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

During both runs, the Giants won games at Lambeau Field.

I think he was meaning they got creamed at some point in the regular season in those seasons.

Ah, gotcha.

Hell even the 1985 Bears, the greatest football team ever assembled my friends, lost a game by 14 points.

I assume you're joking. Cutler did enough to win. Obviously would have liked them to score on their second to last drive, but Bushrod has to false start, and I think they had another guy false start later on. Those ten yards meant a lot at the time.

Offense didn't take advantage of what the defense gave them in the first half. I think that was more on Trestman for not feeding Forte. He put the team on his back when Trestman called his number in the 2nd half. Unfortunately I believe this is the last we will see of this Forte. It's all downhill from here. He's the 2nd best in Bears history (not counting a bitter player that got injured).
