Is it my Jay Cutler hatred getting in the way or is it bizarre how Cutler seeks out Fuller to congratulate him after the play? He takes a long walk into the defensive huddle and tells him good job when his TE had just gotten into an altercation with him.

Link? For how long?

Bennett was the asshole here. Get up in the guys face and maybe give him a chest bump, but no need to body slam a guy after the play.

Indefinitely.

Sounds like the martellus bennett act may be wearing on some people.

The offense is falling apart. We are one Marshall night club altercation away from a complete meltdown.

So you don't think that is strange at all?

The starting QB, who should be the best leader on the team, goes up to pat a rookie on the ass after an altercation and you have a problem with it?

Yes, your Jay hatred is in the way.

His appearances on B&B quickly became PTFB for me.

Seriously though. Lets reverse it.

Lets say that Fuller comes on a blitz and bumps Cutler and Cutler throws him down. Do you think Bennett is going to go over and start giving Fuller praise and encouragement? You don't think that would be strange?

Yes, yes it is.
So you don't think that is strange at all?

No not really.

I think they are all looking out for their #1 pick and someone they see a lot of potential.

I did not view as him "congratulating" him at all.

Just checking on him.

How do you know Cutler was congratulating Fuller, Rick?

You are exaggerating things here.

There is nothing there to say Cutler was praising and encouraging Fuller.

Find something to focus on with the Jets

It looked like encouragement to me.

 It doesn't matter what you think it looked like, BRick. Nobody here has any idea what exactly was said between Cutler and Fuller.

You should be sorry more often.

I just watched the whole thing for the first time and I'll go with Rick hates Cutler on this one.

If that's not the case then I am praising and encouraging every friend I've ever met at a bar.

No worries, the bandwagon is still fine. Now we just got a recall notice for a faulty ignition. I mean, its not a big deal, no one is going to spend the time and effort to bring the car in. Drives perfectly fine...

That is my point though. His TE just got into an altercation and he ignores Bennett and goes right to the other guy and is seemingly telling him he did well or not to worry about it.

If I'm the only one who thinks that is completely normal then I'll own it and say it is no big deal.

I think he was just supporting the guy that got bodyslammed. I think this is a case of over-analyzing Jay Cutler because that's the media narrative.

#1, do you know that Cutler ignored Bennett and didn't say anything to him later on? #2, do you know that Cutler was telling Fuller that he did well?

The answer to both can only be, "No"
So to answer your original question, yes your Cutler hate is getting in the way. Don't worry, BRick. It won't be long before he gets sacked or throws an INT that you can bash him about.

Slaps hand and slaps his helmet.

I think it is safe to say that you always jump to the negative when anything involves Cutler.

1) That isn't the discussion. We are talking about what happened on the field.
2) It looked like that to me.

I simply find it bizarre that he wouldn't go try and deal with Bennett first like most of the rest of the offense seemed to. That is it.
