David, I checked and made sure I could follow all those guys. Its something with you and your account.

Got tickets from ESPN. Picked up Friday night and didn't realize had to be 21. Nephew was waiting for me so picked up. I got to game and was told to go to ticket office to get tickets switched. Went to ticket office at Gate 2 and was told to go to gate 10 to get different seats. They had problem with someone else and exchanged seats. On way to gate 10 ran into another person who told me that couldn't exchange tickets. Desmond Clark heard what was going on and said to go in with him. Person said couldn't do that. Ticket manager came and told me that had to buy tickets. I said didn't have credit card with me. I showed him I had $120 cash with me. A female employee offered a ticket for free but only had one and 6 year old nephew wouldn't be able to sit with me. I told him what assistant told me at Gate 2 and he walked me back to gate 2 and told employee he was wrong. He insisted I pay and I emptied my pockets to show him I had no credit card on me.
I asked him to call Brian McCaskey who I have dealt with in past to remedy situation. He finally agreed to and Brian told him to talk to Pat McCaskey. The female employee came to Gate 2 and couldn't believe we were still waiting to get in. My nephew was near times by now and I told her my nephew wanted to leave after waiting for an hour and she said to my nephew to wait it would be worked out. Finally ticket manager handed me a Miller Lite ticket and woman gave me her single ticket after 1.5 hours. I asked manager where should I sit since nephew couldn't go in Miller section and single ticket in first row in end zone and usher would probably stop us from going down. He said figure it out yourself.
On way to seat Desmond Clark saw me and asked what happened. I told him just getting in and said we need to make this right.
There were 13:00 minutes left in 3rd quarter and a few minutes later George McCaskey came down and said I don't want to embarrass you but I don't appreciate you mentioning the McCaskey name and continued to go off on me. He didn't apologize for what happened or allow me to explain what happened. My nephew heard this and after McCaskey left said can we leave and we did.

Thats the rest of the story.

Any lawyer would tell you that you should always read the fine print.

while I know many here will make the Spada issue the main focus here,

If George Mccaskey doesnt like people calling them to help out he can sell the team.

Nothing pisses me off more than someone who doesnt have time to help you consume their product/service.

Not that Mccaskey is calling Spada for legal advice, but I will guess GMC calls his own legal people or GM's at times or during times that are not convenient to them, when someone else could help them.

Run into this all time. I understand that people like the McCaskeys pay people to handle these issues, but this sure didnt seem like a complicated issue and was fucked up by those same people, so your next step is going to those that employ them.

If a guy comes to the gate with 2 freebies and you need to be 21, he has the 6 year old with him AND THEY HAVE TICKETS....which I am guessing they do. You give them 2 tickets, especially after a game starts and a preseason game at that.

the scenario isnt in the operations manual. You just do the right thing and wish that one day if happened to you, same shit.

Kinda like going to a RUSH game when the ticket guy invites you and you show up with 8 kids and there are no tickets, because that guy never got back to you, even though he was working that day and you saw him at the game. You guy a pay grade above him and someone then gives you all the tickets you need for free and takes care of the bad situation.

Regular season sure, be tougher. But for preseason I would imagine you'd want anybody and everybody through the turnstile. Beer, food, bears hat.

That's just me, though. I didn't inherit an NFL franchise so what do I know.

George should be kissing your ass. You get all these retirees on and they die within two weeks. You're saving him tons of money in long-term health insurance, retirement payments and the like.
