Pompei did make this call in week 3 of preseason.

Something about cutting a vet, then signing them after week 1, dont need to guarantee full contract that way. Still sounds awfully cheap way of doing business.

I liked Ahmad Dixon coming out of Baylor this year. He's not a great pass defender
