Based on previous timelines, this is when something more happens with Brandon Marshall and the team is forced to consider moving on from him.

They'd be smart to get on the phone with the Jets today and be proactive!

I like this idea.

He's going to become a major pain in the ass.

YES, LETS GET RID OF THE ONE GUY WHO ACTUALLY GIVES A FUCK. GREAT IDEA. THE ONE GUY WHO ISNT AFRAID TO SAY THE TEAM DIDNT TRY HARD ENOUGH. THE ONE GUY WHO WILL EVEN CALL OUT HIS BEST FRIEND QUARTERBACK EVEN IF ITS INDIRECT. THE ONE ACTUAL LEADER ON THIS TEAM. MARSHALL SHOULD BE THE ONLY GUY WE KEEP, FIRE EVERYONE ELSE. FUCK THEM.

Marshall is in no way a leader. Everything he does is for his own attention.

but he is an excellent WR in a league that demands multiple excellent receivers on a team

Not even remotely close to being true.

I wish the NFL trade deadline was more like MLB. They should move it to week 10, though.

Bears should be stockpiling draft picks. Pretty much everyone should be on the block minus Forte, Fuller and Jeffrey.

Hell, it may do the Bears some good to trade Forte, too. While he is great, a serviceable RB could be found to replace him and the extra picks could improve the team overall.

Forte is the Bears MVP. I'm pretty sure that Marshall is a distraction in the clubhouse. He took a bunch of plays off yesterday & just stopped running his route. He is a selfish individual.

He's a ticking time bomb. Should have traded him in the offseason like I said. You have to pay Jeffery after next year anyway. Can't have 2 highly paid WR on one team. And Jeffery is the younger one.

The worst is yet to come form Marshall. I think he might kill somebody. Literally.

His production is good but the downward spiral for him seems to have begun. He's also supposedly really tough to be around when things are going bad.

I don't see him getting better.

It's all kind of hazy but didn't Clausen hit him in the hands twice for what looked like a TD?

Yes, 15 admitted he should have had them and I agree he is the ticking time bomb. Not sure I would have traded him or not signed him, but done what the Dolphins did with a series of 1 year deals.

DB's have frustrated him now 2 weeks in a row and you can see he is at the edge.

Clausen played? How'd he look? I'd be all for making a change at QB.

When Jay goes down to injury, you wont notice any difference.

Completely agree. He should try to get open and make plays.

True Marshall might be selfish but so are almost all WRs in the league. I do think he cares about the the team as long as they are winning. Last week the frustrationed boiled over and someone had to explode. It happened to be Brandon. No one else has taken leadership of the team. Marsh is by no means a leader but at least he said something. The team looks lifeless and leaderless. They asked Briggs about the the yelling and he said he got out of there. The one guy i expected to take the leadership role ran outta there.
If the team isnt gonna wake up then what difference does it make if Marshall is a distraction?

He wasn't in the game when he was on the field. Staying on the sidelines may actually help the team. He can watch some players play hard on every play and actually get open.

everyone quit. money isnt the point either. if you say he makes so and so money like dan bernstein says then you inherently expect lesser paid players to not try as hard. its a childish thought process.

He believes he's a leader. That's not what a leader does. He quit, then pouted, or got frustrated, but he quit.

I heard a bit of his show. He was calling out former Bear legends that were criticizing the team (not by name).

He questioned how they could be leaders because some of those guys are divorced. It was pretty depressing to hear.

Then you have the crazy people in the crowd clapping like he just dropped a pearl of wisdom.

He absolutely did.

It was amidst a bunch of other rambling so people probably weren't paying attention.
