There are 53 guys on the active roster and 46 who dress. How many of them should the Bears keep to attempt to build a real football team with?

I'll start off the list with Kyle Fuller, Matt Forte, and Alshon Jeffrey.

Agree with those 3. I would add Bostic and Young as guys you can win with. I think Bostic can be a serviceable NFL guy.

The OL is decent but there isn't anybody irreplaceable there.

I think that's pretty much it. Ratliff is too old but I'd keep him because he can play now.

Jeffrie is a guy that has given up. I lost count how many times he softly runs out of bounds after a catch.

A rookie having a bad game, I can work with.

The veterans who just stink is whatr doesnt work for me. #69 can start that line. Never seen a guy so shitty spend so much time in front of the camera like he is still an all pro player.

I agree with BF, you have to expect hot shot rookies to decline as their rookie year goes on. He stays.

Long stays.
So does Forte, I guess. But tread is wearing thin on him soon.
Bushrod can stay.
Gould is fine. Need a kicker (ask Detroit).

There are some players that would be harder to find a replacement for, but yeah. Yikes. That's a short list.

IF the coaches are fired before the season ends (I know, I know) they can take #69 with them. The bitching about is his play is way WAY too quiet. He's invisible. I can;t think of one play this year where I gave half of a "woah" about. Loser.

No he didn't.

But Tim Jennings looks to be on the Lance Briggs Retirement Schedule.
