I have been saying for at least the past three seasons that the Bears desperately need to amass more picks throughout the draft because they have a crisis of talent at almost every position on the field. Given the team's aging roster, the Bears' predicament is now more acute than ever.
If the team can find teams willing to exchange draft picks for Cutler, Marshall, Forte, Bushrod, Long, and Bennett, they should probably make those deals. I'd be interested to see what Jeffery's value is on the trade market, too.
