I haven't heard but I think the Bears are wearing the whites for this game. I'm pretty sure because the confrences switch each year on home jersey's. Last year Pittsburg wore the whites. So I think it's the AFC turn to wear home colors. Indy goes with blue at home.

I want them to wear the blue pants with their white tops like they did in 85. I know they've worn white on white a couple times this year so I don't know if they will. I just want them to be consistent in their Super Bowl history jersey choice. I'm weird like that.

I also think it would be cool if Lovie wore the "BEARS" sweater vest that Ditka wore in 85. That's just me.

I know this stuff is unimportant but do you guys have any random thoughts on crap like this.

I think Lovie should wear the same Eddie Munster hair style as well, gang.

I also beleive that this will be the most watched Super Bowl ever. Somebody told me that the 82 Super Bowl holds the reccord. That was S.F vs Cinncinati. Cincy wasn't a big market. And in 82 the 49ers were just beginning their dynasy. That stikes me as odd. The Bears in 86 were the 3rd highest rated. But many say it would have been #1 had the game been close.

Yes Indy isn't a huge market. But Manning is a star and basically the face of the league. The Bears have Chicago and a huge nationally following.

After the Bears win, expect to see Lovie in that suit of armor for the Protector car rustproofing.

I believe the Bears are the home team. I think Pittsburgh wore the whites last year because they won three straight road games with the white uniforms so they decided not to break the routine even though they were the home team.

I'd like to see Lovie in the tint down aviator sunglasses. That's where the magic is right there.

I am going to enjoy the 30 second choreography before the snap when Indy has the ball. Manning's flapping Gooney bird mating dance and the raise-the-roof, head slapping, jump around response from Urlacher. I would like to set it set to music and released as a video.

Oh yeah!! You are right enigma. The Steelers did do that last year. They refused their black tops. So yeah, it should be the Bears choice. Cool. It will be nice to see them in their blue tops.

But watch. If it's forecasted to be hot the Bears might choose their whites. They wore whites in September at Solidier Field against Detroit because it was hot. I know it's low 80's now in Miami. Anybody got a forecast for the game yet. Granted it is a 6pm kickoff Miami time. So I'm guessing it will be in the 70's.

Won't it be dark too? So it wouldn't matter if they wear the dark jerseys anyway.

Dark only affects heat due to absorbtion of sunlight.

Yeah, you guys are right. But try explaining that logic to football coaches. We'll see. It will probrally be anounced shortly but if it's not anounced we'll know on media day. The players are required to where there jersey's on the field while idiot reporters ask them questions.

I want to see Chico on the Bears shoulders going out of the stadium....and causing a ruckus when Lovie gets ticked that he was being carried....

I know they won't go with all blue. The Packer loss nixed that for a couple years. Plus, they just won two playoff games with blue on white. They'll stay with the traditional look for the Super Bowl if they chose blue tops. I'm glad we have a forumn to discuss serious issues like this. LOL.

All white jerseys give me too many early-80s, Dave Williams/James Scott flashbacks.

Before the game I want Urlacher to throw a chair against the wall in anger like Mongo. Although Chico's speech won't be as emotional as Buddy's. It will be.

"Well guys, nobody hired my ass so I'm back next year with you. But uhh...win this damn game anyway."

I was thinking of the equally bad Terry Schmidt.

White and Blue pants is the official Bear Super Bowl uniform.

BEARSSSSSS

A story needs to come out that Grossman called the women of Miami sluts, just like McMahon did (or didn't) in New Orleans. Grossman then can moon a helicopter.

Then it will feel like a Bear Super Bowl.

Right. That's what I meant. If it's there choice go with blue tops. And I think it is. Because the AFC gets the even SB's and the NFC gets the odds. This is 41. I was just saying if they chose white then wear blue pants.

******************UPDATE**********************

Guys. I went to NFL.com. They are selling replica SB jerseys. (ya know with the SB patch in the right of the uniform.)

They are only offering Bears blue jerseys and Indy white Jersey's. I think that makes it official. The Bears are wearing blue. Beardown has solved this pressing issue. I'll try to dig deep to figure out the pants. LOL. But I'm sure it will be white.

By the way did you guys know the SB uniforms didn't start having patches until Super Bowl 21. That's why the Bears didn't have a patch in Super Bowl XX. I know I'm a nerd.

When you learn the brand of jock strap they will be wearing, please let me know.

I like my gameday uniform to be completely authentic. Thanks in advance.
