If it happens, should the Bears take a look at him?

Fox would be just the guy he needs to get him back on track, the old father-figure he is. Manziel must have some talent at QB, right?

I don't care about the off-the-field shit. It doesn't matter if he turns out to be good and the Bears can help him.

No one can throw if they don't have time, which he probably didn't have in Cleveland.

NO.....

but gotta give the kid credit....put so much pressure on the NFL GM's someone paid him....because they didnt want to be the guy who missed on Johnny Football...

Personally would have never drafted him. Not because of the drugs, parties, 'tude, etc....not even because of the arm....purely because if you watch his great plays in college, those dont happen in the NFL....I thought he would get crushed and he did....Love NFL guys that cant even stand behind their own thoughts of what makes an NFL player....not just a football player,,,,but an NFL Player, they are bad asses, they take and deliver punishment, if you cant hang in that realm, all the other skills are useless if he cant hang on the field.

He couldn't throw in college either. Mike Evans made the guy a lot of money.

Watch some of these throws....and these are the "highlights".

Every throw over 10 yards is a rainbow jump ball to Evans or a throw to a guy that doesn't have a defender within 10 yards of him.

I'm talking about a try-out and no more. We're thin at quarterback.

If he goes to Dallas without at least giving him a look, it would be a lost opportunity.

Looked good on this drive against the Bills. I like his quick release on the throw around 0:20. The replay is at 1:08. He threw a bullet.

I road tripped to Cleveland to watch his debut start against the Bengal.

He can't throw. There is no zip. He floats everything. No anticipation in his throws either to compensate for the weak arm. He is a "see it throw it" guy but without the cannon Cutler has.

His shit worked in college since he could scramble and wait for coverage to breakdown. Defenses can't cover for 7-10 seconds. In the NFL? They easily hunted down his scrambling ass and turfed the fool.

When we have had Cutler and his soap opera for six years, there would be nothing cooler than to sign Manziel. He's only 22 years old. Bernstein has asked the question what constitutes a developmental quarterback. Manziel would fit that bill, a raw talent that needs molding and maturing. It would be electrifying to the organization.

DING! Whoever drafted him should be banned to Canada. I don't get these idiots and their QB drafts sometimes -- guys that are obviously succeeding in the NCAA based on speed and getting by taking risks because the opposition stinks -- I'm not a paid expert, but it doesn't take a lot to know that Geno Smith is not going to amount to anything. Or Tim Tebow (as a QB) or Manziel.
